Hay Fumigation Building
33,750 sq ft.
Ellensburg, WA
On this project, our Client needed to ship hay overseas as part of their business. However, the didn't have a fumigation facility to prepare the hay for transport. So they contracted with Puterbaugh to build a 33,750 square foot facility... in 12 weeks! With long hours, LOTS of hot coffee to help with the freezing temperatures, and an amazingly dedicated crew, the project was completed on time and on budget.
Rotary Milking Barn
7,800 square feet
Grandview, WA
On this rotary milking barn project, it was the close proximity of the owner's existing milking barn in relation to the new barn we were constructing. We also had to work around the existing feeding area that was west of the new barn, as well as the commodity blocks on the north side of the project area. The proximity of these obstacles challenged us to create a "Plan B" for forming and casting the tilt-up panels to fit the new barn within the boundaries of the site. In the end, the project was a BIG SUCCESS!
Industrial Facility Addition
Quincy, WA
On this project, the Client had firm deadlines to meet and asked if we could start construction without a complete set of engineering plans in hand. While it's not in our normal workflow to proceed this way, we took the Client's needs into consideration, made a thorough evaluation of the project scope, and agreed to start work. As you can imagine, there were constant changes to our scope of work as those engineering plans were being delivered along the way. But, with unyielding patience, teamwork, and a crew who can change directions quickly, we completed the project on time and on spec!
New Dairy Parlor
21,231 sq ft.
Mesa, WA
On this project, the Client needed to move his cows to the new dairy facility in the spring, so the building HAD to be finished on time. But, the original Contractor had fallen way behind. So the Client hired us to pick up where the other guys left off. Taking on any project midstream is NEVER EASY. You have to account for what materials and equipment have been ordered, what's already on site, how many sub-contractors have been hired, and other mission critical details. Yet, time was of the essence on this one. So we jumped in, worked CLOSELY with the Client, and created an excellent workflow that got the project finished by May - just in time to receive the cows!
